Trademarks communicate the image of your products and are the voice of product marketing. Their value can quickly exceed the material value of a company. Our focus is on obtaining trademark protection in Germany, in the European Union and often beyond. We check whether trademark protection is available, search for older rights and maintain your trademarks in Germany and abroad. We represent you before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the EU Trademark Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO); for applications, oppositions and cancellation of already registered trademarks. When it comes to international trademark protection, we rely on an established network of experienced specialists.

Wherever necessary, we take legal action before the German Federal Patent Court (BPatG), the European Court of Justice (ECJ) or the European Court of Justice (ECJ) to make sure that your trademark obtains its rights if the trademark offices oppose it.  If third parties raise objections, we work out delimitation agreements for coexistence.

If third parties infringe your trademark, we enforce your rights out of court - if this is not successful, we take legal action. We advise you strategically, in particular on the right type of proceedings (lawsuit, preliminary injunction) and on the courts in question. Of course, we are just as passionately there for you if you need to defend a trademark or designation used by your company against attacks by third parties.

We also handle so-called cross-border seizure proceedings for your trademarks. In this way, you can already prevent at the border that trademark-infringing goods even enter the EU.
