Comment: Despite the small size of its well-established patent litigation team, this traditional IP boutique is involved in an exceptional number of high-profile cases. Klaka has intensified its work for patent users in large telecommunications proceedings, which has enabled the firm to gain a lot of experience with SEP actions. This is highly appreciated by clients such as Xiaomi, who again engaged the team for an infringement case against a US NPE (non practicing entity).

The Chinese electronics group Hisense also entrusted the team with a legal dispute against another NPE over SEPs. This shows that Klaka can handle large cases despite the small size of the team.
